Hi there! My name is Kerrie Davis and I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you know that I’m looking forward to serving your healthcare needs. I’m a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, as well as Certified in Functional Medicine.

I started my love for the medical field while attending college at IUPUI working on a degree in Criminal Justice. While in school, I worked at Indiana University Hospital as a secretary in the High Risk Maternity Unit where I felt my true calling was to become a nurse. With that desire, after getting my degree in Criminal Justice, I continued on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from IU School of Nursing. Upon graduating, I worked as a nurse at Riley Hospital and from there went on to work in Labor & Delivery, High Risk Maternity and the Neonatal ICU. Working with mothers and babies has always been my passion and it was here that I also began to discover and cultivate my love for natural medicine.

I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to further serve others and advance my education by pursuing and receiving my Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Ball State University. Equipped with the knowledge of various medications and how they should be applied, I wanted to compliment that approach with my growing love of natural medicine and my innate devotion for problem solving to discover the root causes of illness and apply the most effective method(s) of treatment in order to ensure the best outcome for each individual. With that goal in mind, I went on to attain a certification in Functional Medicine. I firmly believe that while modern medicine has its place so, equally, does natural medicine and its holistic approach and neither should be discounted or inflated with respect to providing the individualized care that each person deserves.

On a personal note, I’m a proud mother of four; my oldest son and his new bride, my middle son who recently graduated high school, and my daughter that will soon follow in graduating high school. I consider myself to be among those who are truly content as I absolutely love being a mother and I love being a nurse, friend, and provider. I truly look forward to working with you and your family to be an instrument in helping you achieve a life well lived!

Sincerely and Professionally,

Kerrie Davis, FNP-BC, MSN, RN, CFMP
